Olier & Caron have long been recognized as one of France's premier suppliers of fine silver. Each of sterling silver pieces bears the hallmark of Master French Silversmith "Olier & Caron" in addition to the French Government's "Head of the Minerva - 1" hallmark, certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver. Olier & Caron operated at 39 rue de Turbigo in the 3rd District of Paris from 1910 to 1936. The Mother-of-Pearl handled knives also bears the French Government's "Head of the Minerva - 1" hallmark but the sterling silver manufacturer's hallmark is illegible.
