Antique French 950 Sterling Silver Tea Set by the World's Premier French Silversmith Jean-Baptiste Odiot, plus 6 Faberge Imperial Egg Collection Espresso Cups and Saucers in Limoges Porcelain, An Ultra Luxurious Addition to any Stately and Home Absolutely Magnificent, circa late 1890s. Internationally Known Brands, Recognizable Quality, Odiot & Faberge Elegance and Quality Historically Reserved for the Kings and Queens of Europe, Each Piece in This Magnificent Tea Set has Been Meticulously Hand Crafted in 950 Sterling Silver to the Highest of International Standards, You Can't Go Wrong Buying Quality. Includes a Rare Set of 6 Faberge Imperial Egg Collection Espresso Cups and Matching Saucers in Delicate Limoges Porcelain. Founded in 1842 by Gustave Faberge, the House of Faberge gained International Fame and Fortune with their Imperial Jeweled Easter Egg Collection, Absolutely Magnificent. In 1882 Tsar Alexander III gave his wife Empress Maria Feodorovna a gift of a Faberge jeweled Easter egg. Maria was so delighted with the gift that Alexander appointed Fabergé a "goldsmith by special appointment to the Imperial Crown" and complete freedom to design future imperial Easter eggs. A total of 50 different imperial egg patterns were created. The imperial eggs enjoyed great worldwide fame and international clients included the Duchess of Marlborough, the Rothschild family and numerous European Royalty. This stunning espresso cup and saucer set in Limoges porcelain includes 6 different imperial egg patterns.

The first Coffee Pot stands roughly 22.50cm. high, is approximately 19.50cm. across from the tip of the spout to the outside of the handle and weights 588 grams. It bears the French Government's Head of the Minerva 1 hallmark, certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver, in addition to the Odiot sterling silver manufacturer's hallmark and is stamped "Odiot a Paris" on the underside. The elegant Sugar Bowl with gold plated (vermeil) interior stands approximately 17.00cm. high to the top of the lid, roughly 18.00cm. across to the outside of the handles and weights 528 grams. It bears the French Government's Head of the Minerva 1 hallmark, certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver, in addition to the Odiot sterling silver manufacturer's hallmark and is stamped "Odiot a Paris" on the underside. The first Teapot is roughly 19.00cm. high, approximately 24.50cm. across from the tip of the spout to the outside of the handle and weights 643 grams. It also bears the French Government's Head of the Minerva 1 hallmark, certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver, in addition to the Odiot sterling silver manufacturer's hallmark and is stamped "Odiot a Paris 4436" on the underside. The first Cream Pitcher stand approximately 7.30cm. high, is roughly 15.50cm. across from the tip of the spout to the outside of the handle and weights 232 grams. It also bears the French Government's Head of the Minerva 1 hallmark, certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver, in addition to the Odiot sterling silver manufacturer's hallmark and is stamped "Odiot a Paris 837" on the underside. The second Coffee Pot (hot chocolate server) stands roughly 23.50cm. high, is approximately 18.50cm. across from the tip of the spout to the outside of the handle and weights 685 grams. It bears the French Government's Head of the Minerva 1 hallmark, certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver, in addition to the Odiot sterling silver manufacturer's hallmark and is stamped "Odiot a Paris 851" on the underside. The second Cream (Milk) Pitcher stand approximately 7.30cm. high, is roughly 15.50cm. across from the tip of the spout to the outside of the handle and weights 222 grams. It also bears the French Government's Head of the Minerva 1 hallmark, certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver, in addition to the Odiot sterling silver manufacturer's hallmark and is stamped "Odiot a Paris " on the underside. The second Amazing Teapot (Green Tea) is roughly 18.50cm. high, approximately 24.50cm. across from the tip of the spout to the outside of the handle and weights 724 grams. It also bears the French Government's Head of the Minerva 1 hallmark, certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver, in addition to the Francois-Julian Doyen sterling silver manufacturer's hallmark for The House of Odiot. The sturdy Candy / Biscuit Dish is roughly 6.00cm. high, has a top diameter of 20.20cm and weights 357 grams. It also bears the French Government's Head of the Minerva 1 hallmark, certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver, in addition to the Odiot sterling silver manufacturer's hallmark and is stamped "Odiot a Paris 2543" on the underside. "The Imperial Rosebud Egg" - Each Faberge Jeweled Easter Egg designed espresso cup and saucer together stand 6.30cm. in height, the saucer has a diameter of 12.00cm. Each is stamped in gold on the underside with the "Faberge" Emblem and "Limoges France". "The Imperial Rosebud Egg" - Each cup by itself is 6.00cm. high, has a diameter of 5.50cm. and is stamped in gold on the underside with the "Faberge Emblem" and "Limoges France". The massive serving tray is approximately 75.00cm. in length to the outside of the handles, 48.00cm. across and weights an astounding 3,800+/- grams. It also bears the French Government's Head of the Minerva 1 hallmark, certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver, in addition to the Odiot sterling silver manufacturer's hallmark and is stamped "Mon. Odiot a Paris 4162" on the underside.

The House of Odiot was founded in 1690 and for over three centuries the company of silversmiths has maintained it's fabulous tradition of creating fine masterpieces in 950 sterling silver and gold plated sterling silver (vermeil). For five generations the firm has been silversmiths to the Kings and Queens of Europe as well as Presidents and Emperors around the world. The set is made up of 2 coffee pots (perhaps 1 for hot chocolate) 2 teapots, 1 candy or biscuit dish, 1 sugar bowl with gold plated (vermeil) interior, 2 cream pitchers with gold plated (vermeil) interiors, 1 large serving tray and there are no monograms on any of the pieces. Accompanying the set are 6 Faberge Imperial Egg espresso cups and matching saucers in delicate Limoges porcelain – MAGNIFICENT.
